Located in one of the most influential regions in the world, the Christ the United Presbyterian Church is a living testimony to the power of the Gospel. More than 20 years ago, God allowed the church to be established by a group of Brazilian and American immigrants committed to the Gospel. After serving alongside American Christians in a historic building in the Cambridge area, we began a new walk in East Boston, believing that the Lord will bless us day by day.

We love the city and want to live in the city, pray for it, and work for its peace and well being. The core of our vision is a conviction that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power for the salvation of everyone who believes in Him, and that all chaos and suffering will be fully treated and healed by the Gospel. We want to see the success of the city through transformed lives. We are sure that the good news of God’s love—His death and resurrection out of love for sinners with great need— will change lives and communities in Greater Boston for the better.
