Planting a new church in New Zealand

about project NEW life:

Led by Pastor Egimar Oliveira, the Projeto New Vida (Project New Life) has a vital task: to establish a new church and reignite the gospel among those in New Zealand who have drifted away from their faith in Jesus Christ. Currently, the church planter and his family are dedicated to language development, immersing themselves in the culture, and conducting field research.

Impact of the Project:

Project New Life is making a difference in New Zealand, with entire communities turning to faith in Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, New Zealand is a country where Christianity has been declining, with churches being abandoned or repurposed due to secularism. We are countering this trend with the Projeto Vida Nova.

Why We Support:

CTK United believes in the importance of reintroducing the gospel in regions where faith is weakening. We believe that Projeto Vida Nova is doing crucial work in this area, which is why we have chosen to support this project.

Support from the Brazilian Task Force:

The Grace Presbyterian Church, which has experienced church closures in New Zealand, formed the "Brazilian's Task Force." This committee has worked to establish a partnership with IPB/APMT to bring Brazilian pastors to plant new churches in New Zealand. It has been a precious time of edification and preparation for the challenges that lie ahead.

• We are volunteering at Bupa Hayman Care Home, where we engage in conversations with staff and residents and participate in weekly worship services.

• We are supporting two small groups, one from the host church and another comprised of non-Christians from Asian countries.

• We have initiated a monthly men's gathering at the church, with the aim of strengthening fellowship and awakening men's ministry within the church.

The project offers tutoring classes, computer literacy programs, medical assistance, sports activities, psychological and spiritual support, along with sharing the gospel.

This project has already reached over 200 children and their parents with the genuine gospel, while providing much-needed educational and healthcare resources. Through the tireless work of Pastor Cloves Oliveira and his team, we see entire communities being transformed and individuals being empowered for a better future..

The Hasta Memorial School-Nepal project, led by Anjali Tamang, a former victim of child trafficking, aims to maintain a school focused on preventing this crime. Girls who are at risk of being trafficked are healed and protected in this school. Anjali was educated and cared for by the The Apple of God's Eyes project. With her life completely transformed, she got married, had a child, and now is responsible for managing the Hasta School.

About project the apple of god’s eyes:

About the Project:

The Apple of God's Eyes Nepal is an ongoing initiative since 2000 in Kathmandu, Nepal. Carried out in partnership with two NGOs, Hope Mobilization from Brazil and Nepalese Home from Nepal, the project aims to care for Nepalese girls rescued from human trafficking, particularly for sexual exploitation in neighboring India.

Project Impact:

For over 20 years, The Apple of God's Eyes has been tirelessly providing assistance to victims of human trafficking. The project also focuses on prevention through education and awareness initiatives. Currently, about 150 children and youth, including girls who are victims of trafficking and children at risk, find a safe home in one of the four care houses managed by the project. Over 600 individuals have already been through this institution.

Project Importance:

The project plays a crucial role in combating human trafficking in Nepal, a country where an estimated 12,000 girls are trafficked to India each year for sexual exploitation. Additionally, by providing education, the project seeks to transform society and foster leadership, contributing to a more promising future.

International Collaboration among Church Planters in Unreached or Least Evangelized Areas

about the project:

Greater international collaboration and communion, based on unity in Christ and under the guidance of the Word of God, promoting growing synergy among local church planters (people of the land), especially in the least evangelized and unreached areas, resulting in encouragement, mutual learning, and more healthy churches being planted and strengthened for the glory of God.

All of Planters' efforts promote real collaboration at the 'tip of the spear': encouraged local planters serving Christ with great anticipation of seeing the gospel give birth to biblically sound, welcoming, contextualized, and mission-oriented churches.

Impact of the Project:

The existence of 7,000 least or unreached people groups in the world, over 2 billion people who have heard little or nothing of the gospel, as well as the need and opportunity to learn, and to provide biblical, theological, and practical support to local churches in arid regions. This project focuses on the least evangelized areas of the world among those who have heard little or nothing of God's gospel, with a focus on North Africa, the Middle East, Central and South Asia, and Minority Peoples in South America.
